How to Access a Podiatrist
In Manitoba we have Podiatrists practising in Brandon and Winnipeg metropolitan areas. There are a few Podiatrists that operate rural clinics and some that have visiting practices if you cannot get into the city or are housebound.
You do NOT need a referral to see a Podiatrist you can simply phone the clinic to book an appointment.
Podiatry treatments are not covered under Manitoba Health; however Podiatry is covered under most Extended Health Care Provider Plans. Please check your individual policy for specific details as all plans differ.
